1. Gratitude.
In order to lead a happy and fulfilled life you have to get into the habit of practicing gratitude in your life. From a very young age we have been told how much better we have it compared to people from all around the world, but how many people truly live that reality? By being present to the moment and grateful for what you have in life you are able to put things into perspective. Suddenly a loss doesn’t seem so devastating and win doesn’t give you too big of a head. 2. Enough is not enough.
Although being grateful is essential for a healthy and happy life, you also must be constantly reaching for your next success. You should feel good about what you have but never satisfied. The minute you believe you have enough you will watch it slip away in just a fraction of the time. Many of the greatest business men of all time have experienced this first hand and have written countless book to pass that valuable information down to us. Read about the greats every chance you get and you will learn a lifetime of information without having to experience the mistakes yourself. 3. Momentum.
This is a crucial bit of information I got while listening to people such and Grant Cardone and Gary Vaynerchuk. The more you do, the more you can do. Your mind is a muscle, and it will do what you train it to do. The more you work, the easier working will become. Think of yourself as a car moving up a hill toward a car. The beginning of the hill you will burn a lot of gas trying to get started, but once your moving it gets easier and easier to continue and uses less and less gas as the momentum builds. If you take your foot of the gas you will quickly lose momentum and begin to roll backwards. Maintain your momentum and achieve your goals. 4. Think Big.
In order to stay motivated you have to be excited, and if you are only thinking about the next incremental step you will likely not be able to stay as excited as when you began. When you begin to think of a giant goal and how this will improve your life it’s actually hard not to be excited about what you’re doing. The last piece of advice I would give is to always be selectively consuming content from people that have achieved what you would like to achieve. Keep positive thoughts flowing and always be striving for greatness.
